Kutnu Crossover Bags

I always wanted bags made with Kutnu fabric and, I collaborated with Nurdan Deniz of Mermaid Design to create these crossover bags. I designed a simple bag that is functional and also is very Ottoman Empire style.

(This fabric is delicate, we recommend to spray it with Scotchguard.)

"Kutnu" used to be woven in a hand looms and were produced only by a handful of people. They were dyed with special herbs and roots. There are even less people weaving Kutnu now and it is being mass produced in factories in limited quantities. Royals of the Ottoman Empire wore clothing made from Kutnu. This beautiful fabric will bring you much joy.
