Hand made slippers reinvented. Our master cobbler Harun made these slippers by hand with leather soles so that they could be suitable to wear outside. (This fabric is delicate, we recommend to spray it with Scotchguard.)

This very special fabric is called "Kutnu". It used to be woven in hand looms. Sultans of the Ottoman Empire wore clothing made from Kutnu and were fitted with the slippers as well. Kutnu were woven by the Kurdish tribes in the Southeastern Turkey and were sent as gifts to the Sultans.
